ComfortHeat Technology outsmarts winter weather with its intelligent control, two-speed motors and two-stage gas valve. We talk about the intelligence and versatility of this furnace, but enjoying its benefits is easy. Just select your desired temperature, then let the WeatherMaker 8000TS get to work. It starts with low-stage heating, which gently circulates heated air throughout your home. This "low-stage" heating cycle operates nearly continuously to maintain your comfort with amazing consistency and without the up and down temperature swings associated with ordinary furnaces. When exterior temperatures drop, the WeatherMaker 8000TS control calls for high stage heating to keep your comfort consistent.

With an ordinary single-speed gas furnace, your temperature can fluctuate 4° or more from your desired temperature setting. With the Carrier WeatherMaker 8000TS gas furnace with ComfortHeatT Technology helps you maintain indoor temperatures within 1° of your desired setting during every season.

With the addition of a Carrier air conditioner, the WeatherMaker 8000TS becomes the founding component of a complete, indoor weather system. All year long, low fan speed keeps air moving through the home while providing significant savings in electricity when compared to a fixed-capacity system. For even greater comfort, add Carrier's optional Thermidistat Control. This control is the key to our exclusive SmartEvap function, which provides up to a 10% reduction in humidity over a standard system.

You'll enjoy all of the performance provided by the WeatherMaker 8000TS in peace, because this is the quietest 80% AFUE furnace we offer. Low speed blower operation greatly reduces noise compared to standard models, but that's only half the story. Our engineers also made changes to the burner, inducer, fan and more to make our current lineup of 80% efficient furnaces among the quietest in the industry. We call it QuieTech, but you can just call it easy on the ears.

The aluminized, crimped seam construction of the Super-S heat exchanger resists corrosion. The hot surface ignition safely and efficiently starts the aluminized steel burners for reliable operation.

Economical comfort is created by the two-speed inducer motor. This component ensures peak efficiency by directing the flow of air through the heat exchangers for improved heat transfer.

Energy-efficient performance of the WeatherMaker 8000TS gas furnace comes from our heat exchanger. Carrier's Super-S Heat Exchanger converts more than 80% of the heat from the furnace into useable heat for your home.

Optimum comfort and energy savings is the result of our two-stage gas valve. The low stage improves comfort on milder days. The high stage ensures comfort during more extreme outdoor weather conditions.

Efficient, reliable operation is ensured by the hot surface ignition which eliminates the need for typical pilot lights.
